| Music City Center Books 600,000+ Room Nights | | Wednesday, 11 January 2012 | | Convention Center/CVB News | Nashville– Pre-opening sales for the Music City Center now 600,000 room nights, bringing it closer to an internal goal of booking one million room nights for the 1.2 million-square-foot convention complex prior to its opening in 2013, according to the Nashville Convention & Visitors Bureau. Two months ago the CVB announced having reached 500,000 room nights, representing the half-way mark in pre-booking activities, and indicating the goal will be reached if bookings continue apace.

According to Global Spectrum, managers of the venue, the St. Charles Convention Center ended 2006 with gross revenues of over $4.2 million, which exceeded projections by 44 percent.
