Moline, IL—Celebrating its 13th year as a leading mid-western arena, The MARK of the Quad Citiesshows no signs of complacency. This Prime Site Award Winner continues to enhance both the venue and its audience experience.
Facility officials announced they are in the process of completing several significant capital projects, including a state of the art LED Fascia Display System (aka Ribbon Boards), a Premium Seating area, a contemporary VIP Club Lounge for the Premium Seating License holders and a new Team Store. "Our goal is to keep The MARK on the cutting edge in terms of the events we present and the amenities that will maximize the overall guest experience," said Scott Mullen, executive director. "We are very fortunate to have a forward thinking Executive Board that shares our vision to maintain The MARK’s image as one of the premier mid-size arenas in the country."
The new White Way LED Fascia Display System replaces the arena’s previously fixed backlit panels and will give advertisers the opportunity to customize and animate their messages to prospective clients. It also enhances the fan experience by getting them involved and keeping them involved in the action with the interactive animations. The Quad City Mallards contributed $200,000 towards the system, which came with a price tag of nearly $600,000. The new Premium Seating area gives seat license holders the opportunity to purchase the same Premium Seat to every MARK event. The new seats are upholstered with black leather, include additional cushion and provide wider seat space. Premium Seating amenities include wait service, specialized menu options and exclusive VIP lounge access, where license holders can socialize before, during or after events, and catch the latest sporting events on the lounge’s multiple televisions
In total, the Quad City Civic Center Authority will invested nearly $1,000,000 in venue improvements in 2006. "We enjoyed a very strong fiscal year last year and this year is also shaping up nicely thank to the efforts of our management team," said Ted Johnson, MARK Board chairman. "Our recent level of success has exceeded our goals and will allow us to reinvest additional revenues back into the building." |
