Ogden, UT—SMG has signed a multi-year contract to the Ogden Eccles Conference Center, indicating that the company sees continued growth in the small-to-mid-size meeting and event market. The David Eccles Conference Center is a state-of-the-art facility with approximately 100,000 square feet of total space within the building. It is also within walking distance of several local sites such as the Ogden Marriott Hotel, transportation, Historic 25th Street restaurants and novelty shops. One of the venue’s specialized meeting facilities is The Executive Room, which features Congress-style seating for 80, on-line access for 45 computers where networked software can be projected onto the built-in screen.
Multi-media entertainment has a unique showcase at The David Eccles Conference Center with the Peery's Egyptian Theater, which is decorated in a fun and colorful Ancient Egyptian motif. This intimate event venue, which seats 800, is designed to accommodate general sessions as well as live theater, dance, music, symphonic and multimedia performances as well as film. It is also available for up to 800 attendees. The theater is designed in a lively and fun "Ancient Egyptian" motif. |
