Butler County, PA—The Butler County Tourism & Convention Bureau (BCTCB) has increased attendee convenience and energy efficiency at this Western Pennsylvania destination just 20 minutes North of Pittsburgh. Butler County offers charming country side as well as state-of-the art and innovative meeting venues, and upscale hotels and now the Bureau offers a brand new 12-passenger shuttle bus as an incentive for meeting planners to hold their small-to-mid-size events at Butler County hotels, conference centers and other venues.
"Our new shuttle bus can provide complimentary airport transportation and even take groups to visit our many attractions," said Jack Cohen, executive director, BCTCB. "Our hotel members are excited to offer this perk because it’s yet another reason for groups to choose Butler County."
The shuttle bus is available only to Butler County hotels who host groups at their property. The complimentary service is funded by the hotels through the Tourism Bureau. Reservations for the shuttle must be made directly through the hotels, and meeting planners are advised to contact the hotels in order for them to include the new Meetings Bus in their packages. Hotels that will offer the shuttle buss include: AmeriSuites Pittsburgh – Cranberry, Butler Days Inn Conference Center, Conley Resort, Hampton Inn, Fairfield Inn and Suites - Butler, Residence Inn,
Holiday Inn Express, and Pittsburgh Marriott North at Cranberry.
The shuttle service can be used for group travel to and from the airport, as well as sight seeing excursions, or for transport between the hotel and the several unique meeting/event venues Butler is becoming known for, such as The Grand Ballroom at Cornerstone Commons, Regional Learning Alliance at Cranberry Woods and
The Succop Conservancy. |
