With the number of FedEx Kinko’s business centers featured at convention centers and meeting hotels now in the dozens and several more poised to come online throughout 2008, the brand synonymous with overnight shipping and office services and supplies has reinforced its position among conventions and meetings planner and profession.
FedEx Kinko's has joined the Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA) as a Strategic Partner. Through this new relationship, FedEx Kinko's will help to champion achievement in the industry through two significant PCMA events—the company was a sponsor of the PCMA Awards Luncheon at the 52nd annual meeting, held in January in Seattle at the Washington State Convention and Trade Center, and will be a sponsor of the PCMA Education Foundation Dinner Celebrating Professional Achievement at the Hilton Washington in Washington, DC on April 2, 2008.
"As a PCMA strategic partner, we strive to support the future of this industry and celebrate the significant professional achievements of all PCMA's members," said Angela Benitez, Marketing and Planning Strategist - Hospitality and Conventions, FedEx Kinko's at the Seattle PCMA event.
FedEx Kinko's has been committed to serving the needs of the meetings and convention industry for more than a decade. FedEx Kinko's operates 33 office and print centers in top convention and hotel sites throughout the country, including the Orange County Convention Center, the Washington State Convention and Trade Center, Jacob K. Javits Convention Center and McCormick Place. The company has more than 1,800 total locations worldwide.
"At FedEx Kinko's, we understand that work doesn't stop when our customers are traveling for a meeting or event," said Benitez. "Our team members are always ready to provide high quality, professional service – whether it's printing documents and delivering them to meeting sites or packing and shipping the leftover event materials back to customers' offices." |
