By Summer 2008, 5,000 square feet of additional meeting space will be added to the existing 60,000 square feet of meeting space at the Renaissance Austin Hotel in Austin, Texas. When construction is completed, the facility will be the largest meeting hotel in the city as well as an ideal venue for meetings, conventions and special events.

The new meeting space features upscale contemporary décor is with soft lighting, which will create a memorable experience. Enhanced by the lush greenery and wildflowers, the space will feature vaulted copper-tin ceilings, arched doors, large-scale windows, acoustical wood, and an overall neutral palette so that the room is versatile for any type of theme or function. The space is also engineered with the latest high-tech audio-visual, sound, and lighting amenities.
