Tampa, FL—Embassy Suites Hotels recently celebrated the long awaited grand opening of a 20-story, 360-suite hotel in downtown Tampa.

The $100 million facility, which is managed by Hilton Hotels Corporation has 9,000 square feet of meeting space, is claimed to be the first, full-service, all-suites hotel in downtown Tampa. Geared to both business and leisure travelers, the hotel is the only building that is conveniently connected to the Tampa Convention Center by an open sky bridge. It also contains spacious, two-room suites, high-speed Internet access in all rooms, a heated outdoor pool, a full-service business center, and a full fitness center. Breakfast is complimentary and some of the hotel’s special features include a manager’s reception and the EmbassyDirect ™ Registration Kiosk for easy check-in, check-out service.
Guests can take in the sites via an electric streetcar which transports its passengers out to the waterfront, entertainment districts, shops, restaurants and attractions at Channelside and Ybor City, Tampa’s historic Latin Quarter.
