Smart Move for Smart City

Thursday, 28 February 2008 17:59

Founded in 1984, Smart City provides telecommunication technology—including design, installation and maintenance of data, voice, electrical and utility platforms, coupled with voice, video and data  network engineering, security and monitoring to more than 60 convention centers throughout the United States, servicing more than 5,000 trade shows, conventions and exhibitions. Last month, the company’s Las Vegas corporate headquarters (Smart City also has headquarters in Lake Buena Vista, Florida) to newly built, 14,133-square-foot office space in Beltway Park, a new industrial complex in Las Vegas. The new building also serves as the headquarters for Priority Networks,  which merged their operations with Smart City in 2006. To celebrate moving into its new building, Smart City held  an open house for employees, family members and invited guests.

"Smart City has experienced an incredible amount of growth over the past two years, and a new office was essential to accommodate our business," said Paul Ashley, President of Smart City. "Additionally, the larger space means that all of our operations staff is under one roof, which allows us to solve problems faster and be even more responsive to clients."
