
More than 100 hotel, hospitality and meetings industry professionals based in the Nutmeg state gathered for the “2009 Hotel Industry Summit & State of the Industry Forecast” at the Crowne Plaza Cromwell Hotel & Conference Center, in Hartford, Connecticut. The day long event, hosted by the Greater Hartford Convention& Visitors Bureau, featured a State of the Industry Forecast presented by Smith Travel Research, and the results of a new “Hartford Attractiveness Study,” conducted by George Fenich, PhD, of Fenich & Associates in Greenville, N.C, which compared the city to other major U.S. convention markets.
