REO Speedwagon had its beginnings at University of Illinois in Champaign, Illinois in the fall of 1967 when some students formed a band to play cover songs at local bars. By 1971, REO Speedwagon released their debut album and the rest is classic rock history. In October, REO rolled back into its hometown for the 8th appearance in their 37-year career at University of Illinois Assembly Hall.
