Detroit Pistons owner William Davidson was recently inducted into the 2008 Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame, and his friends and colleagues at Palace Sports & Entertainment and Guardian Industries utilized a billboard on Interstate 75 near 14 Mile Road in Troy, Michigan to congratulate him for his accomplishment. Davidson purchased the Pistons in 1974 and has seen his ball club win three NBA Championships and, in addition, his WNBA franchise the Detroit Shock has won two league titles. Davidson's Palace Sports & Entertainment also owns The Palace of Auburn Hills, DTE Energy Music Theatre and it manages Meadow Brook Music Festival on the campus of Oakland University.
