A driving force in the meeting planner community. Jeremy Milikow, CEO (left) with Mitchel Bornstein, Senior VP, UrbanRide, in one of their limos—UrbanRide, a global provider of meeting and event transportation, is donating 20 memberships to the Greater New York Chapter of Meeting Professionals International.
Not only is UrbanRide—a provider of meeting and event transportation solutions in more than 500 cities, including every major destination in North America, South America, Europe, Australia, Africa and Asia—but the company also intends to become a driving force in the meeting planner community. UrbanRide will donate 20 memberships—10 regular and 10 student— to the Greater New York Chapter of Meeting Professionals International.
There is an application and a selection process to decide winners—an essay will be required. The most important criteria however is involvement—applicants must serve on at least one committee during their UrbanRide membership year. "We want to give back to the meetings and special events community," said Jeremy Milikow, CEO, UrbanRide. "The only requirement to receive the free memberships is to get involved in the organization and join and be active in a committee."
