The 2007 World Tourism Awards honorees were announced on September 19 at a special event at New York’s Tavern on the Green www.tavernonthegreen.com. Award sponsors include Corinthia Hotels International,  American Express and the International Herald Tribune. Announcing the awards were (left to right) Tony Potter, CEO, Corinthia Hotels International, Michael Stolowitzky, President & CEO of the American Tourism Society, and Alex Harris, CTC, Chairman General Tours, American Tourism Society. The annual award will be presented in London at World Travel Market on November 12.
