Virginia Beach boasts a growing entertainment district, beautiful beaches, historic sites and a recently completed, state-of-the-art Convention Center. In fact, the Virginia Beach Convention Center—which features 516,000 square feet of meeting/exhibition space and an architectural design integrating water, wood and natural light motifs—was recognized by a major architect association with a 2006 award.
