In May, the 12,000-seat, SMG-managed Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids Michigian celebrated its 10 millionth Fan. The event took place during a concert stop of the current tour by The Police. The 10 millionth patron was Deb Klawiter (left) of Jenison, Michigan, who is pictured with Lynne Ike, Marketing Director for Van Andel Arena, and John Margold from Rowe International (manufacturers of the Juke Box in the Photo. For following 9,999,999 other patrons, Klawiter was awarded an exceptional prize package valued at over $11,000! The prize package included: A Nostalgia jukebox from Rowe International stocked with 100 CDs from entertainers at Van Andel Arena valued; A pair of tickets to every event at the arena for a year;  A pair of Grand Rapids Rampage season tickets for the 2009 season; A pair of Grand Rapids Griffins season tickets for the 2008/09 season;  as well gift certificates for Grand Rapid Hotels, several restaurants and premium items from local broadcasters as well as the Kent County/Grand Rapids Convention and Visitors Bureau.
