Meeting Planners and meeting attendees flying into Atlanta may soon have better access to both their rental cars and the Georgia International Convention Center.  Due to open in 2009, Consolidated Rental Car—CONRAC—(rendering above), will be full service, state-of-the-art centralizing all rental car operations adjacent to the Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, eliminating the need for rental agency shuttle buses. The 67.5 acre facility is located across from the Airport and will connect to the existing passenger terminals via an Automated People Mover (APM) train system, which in addition to CONRAC, will also connect to the Georgia International Convention Center, linking the airport to  a major convention and trade show facility.
