The University of South Carolina and Colonial Life announce the official name change of the Colonial Center to Colonial Life Arena. Colonial Life & Accident Insurance Co., the naming rights partner with the arena, launched its new "Colonial Life" brand in January and the name change will accurately reflect their overall brand with the arena.  "We are excited about the new name for the arena and see it as a good rebranding opportunity for all of the exciting events,” said Tom Paquette, General Manager, of the Global Spectrum-managed venue. Considered the largest arena in the state of South Carolina,18,000-seat Colonial Life Arena, located on the University of South Carolina campus, features 41 suites, four Entertainment Suites, and the Frank McGuire Club, a full-service hospitality room with a capacity of 300.
