Barbra Streisand, the music industry's #1 best-selling female artist, has launched a 20 date Concert Tour, that includes many Prime Site Award winners. —America’s Diva—is back and bringing her beloved, singular vocal stylings to audiences once again. The 20 date concert tour, kicked off at the Wachovia Center is winning rave reviews for the warmth and intensity of her voice and a set list that spans her amazing career. The concerts, many of which are already sell outs, are also breaking house records for top grossing concerts.
Barbra Streisand is the music industry's #1 best-selling female artist with 50 Gold, 30 Platinum and 13 Multi-Platinum albums to her credit. She is second in the all-time charts, ahead of The Beatles and The Rolling Stones, exceeded only by Elvis. She continues to be the highest-selling female recording artist ever. Streisand remains the only artist to receive Oscar, Tony, Emmy, Grammy, Golden Globe, Cable Ace, and Peabody Awards, and the American Film Institute's Life Achievement Award.
