Florida’s Space Coast Office of Tourism  and its Agency, The Zimmerman Agency was awarded the prestigious Platinum Award for the “astronaut campaign” at the 50th Anniversary Adrian Awards, presented by the Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International. The campaign cleverly combined the natural and space appeal of the region: Florida’s Space Coast features more than 72 miles of beaches, two inlets, a national seashore and two national wildlife refuges, as well as the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex, Port Canaveral and the U.S. Astronaut Hall of Fame. Space Coast meeting/event venues include the Space Coast Convention Center, the Imperial's Hotel & Conference Center, and the Cocoa Expo Sports Center.
