Price Chopper Supermarkets owns and operates 115 Price Chopper grocery stores in the Northeast—primarily in New York, Vermont, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts and New Hampshire. At its annual Fall holiday business, attended by top management from all the locations, the Connecticut Convention Center’s 140,000-square-foot Exhibition Hall was transformed into a mega supermarket with rows and rows of foods and products. As soon as the multi-day event ended, Price Chopper donated nearly 15 tons of food toFoodshare, the region’s food bank, which distributes food each day to a network of 400 local nonprofits.
