While a golf course is not unusual for a Conference Center, not many meeting facilities also boast a world class golf school.  Golf Magazine’s "Top 25 Best Golf Schools" in America includes the Phil Ritson-Mel Sole Golf School, headquartered at Pawleys Plantation, a Conference Center on Pawleys Island, South Carolina, (just south of Myrtle Beach). The Ritson-Sole school is ranked number 5 on the Top 25 list. It is one of only 10 academies to remain on prestigious "Top 25 Golf Schools" list since the ranking debuted in 1999.
