Kathleen M. “Kitty” Ratcliffe, President of the St. Louis Convention & Visitors Commission, has been named one of St. Louis’ “Most Influential Business Women” by the St. Louis Business Journal. The award recognizes remarkable women who excel at careers in the region’s business arena. The list of 2008 nominees illustrates the breadth of talent and achievement among St. Louis-area women.  The St. Louis Convention & Visitors Commission released the following statement:  “An industry advocate, change agent, mentor and friend all wrapped up in one, Kathleen M. “Kitty” Ratcliffe is committed to St. Louis. In just two short years as president of the St. Louis Convention & Visitors Commission, she has transformed the way the CVC does business and how it serves members, customers and stakeholders.”  Upon receiving the honor, Ratcliffe said, “St. Louis is extremely fortunate to have such an abundance of talented women who support our region and make it such a great place to live and work.
