
It’s been a few years since Josh Groban appeared on famed TV sitcom Ally McBeal, but in that time the Grammy Nominated singer has become one of the rising pop stars of our day. He’s here backstage at the Air Canada Centre, where they celebrated his sold-out performance with a personalized Toronto Maple Leafs. Groban is currently on tour supporting his new CD, "Awake," which includes musical contributions from Ladysmith Black Mambazo, Dave Matthews, and Herbie Hancock.
"Awake's" 13 new songs including the just released first single, "You Are Loved (Don't Give Up)" show the Grammy nominated Groban's tremendous growth as a vocalist, producer and songwriter since he first appeared on the musical landscape. "I learned from touring that my fans are really open-minded, musical, intelligent people and I feel like they want to come on this new journey with me,” said Groban. Other arenas Groban plans to Awake soon include: Verizon Center, RBC Center , Phillips Arena, American Airlines Arena, US Airways Arena, Staples Center, and MGM Garden Arena.
