The “350” LED “ribbon board” at the Spokane Veterans Memorial Arena.
Events at the Spokane Veterans Memorial Arena just got even more exciting! This famed northwest sports & entertainment venue has a new LED "ribbon board", located on the fascia between the 100 and 200 levels of the Arena. Known as "The 350" due to its 350-degree presence around the Arena bowl, the ribbon features bright colors and full-motion video providing an entirely new event experience and enhancing events like never before.
The 350 had its premier at the Spokane Veterans Memorial Arena on October 4 during the home ice practice of the Spokane Chiefs. The ribbon board was officially unveiled to the public at the Spokane Chiefs season opener on that Saturday, where the 350 received a standing ovation from the crowd of 9,238. (although the game went into over-time, the Chiefs lost 2-1 to the Tri-City Americans).
The Spokane Chiefs inagurated the new LED “ribbon board,” featuring bright colors and full-motion video at its home opener.
Alas, the season is young and there is still plenty of action ahead for the Western Hockey League and the Spokane Veterans Memorial Arena. According to venue officials, the new LED ribbon board will be used not just for the Chiefs, but will be available for all events. The Spokane Veterans Memorial Arena can sit up to 12,494 for end stage concets, offers three Star dressing rooms, two promoter rooms, seven carpeted team locker rooms, green room and 35,000-square-foot Concourse.
