The much anticipated, 556-room InterContinental Chicago O’Hare in Rosemont, Illinois, had its official grand opening this month. The debut of the area’s second InterContinental Hotels & Resorts property was commemorated by a ribbon cutting ceremony, (right to left): David Hall, General Manager, InterContinental Chicago O’Hare; Deborah Nisson, Senior Vice President, Amalgamated Bank; Peter Dumon, President, The Harp Group; Mayor Bradley Stephens of the Village of Rosemont; Janis Cannon, Vice President, Brand Management, Intercontinental Hotels & Resorts, The Americas, and Christopher R. Stephens, General Manager, Donald E. Stephens Convention Center. The 556-room hotel features 53,000+ square feet of meeting space, including 34 meeting rooms,  Nine private boardrooms, four grand ballrooms, a full-service business center, and complimentary airport shuttle, departing every 20 minutes. In addition, the InterContinental Chicago O’Hare is located across the street from the 840,000-square-foot Donald E. Stephens Convention Center
