More than 70 restaurants and other vendors participated in South Montgomery County Woodlands Chamber of Commerce’s 23rd Annual Taste of the Town—this Texas county includes the municipalities of Woodlands and Montgomery and borders the city of Houston. This consumer event, held at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel and Convention Center, attracted approximately 5,000 attendees who feasted on appetizers, entrees, side dishes, desserts, pastries and beverages from some of the area’s finest restaurants, caterers, bakeries, delis and beverage companies. The event also benefited the Montgomery County Food Bank. La Torretta Del Lago Resort & Spa, which features 10 meeting rooms and a 10,000-square-foot ballroom, is a Montgomery, Texas destination also known for it onsite restaurant, Prime, received commemorative platter recognizing the property’s underwriting support of the 23rd Annual Taste of the Town.
