
Global Spectrum Europe—a partnership between Global Spectrum and the NEC Group of Birmingham, England—will manage and operate the new Spaladium (a rendering is pictured above) in Split, Croatia, a 12,000-seat multi-purpose sports and entertainment venue which due to open in December of 2008. Troy Flynn, Flynn, who most recently served Global Spectrum as Assistant General Manager of the Sovereign Bank Arena in Trenton, has been named the first General Manager of the venue. "The Spaladium will be a significant new source of top sports and entertainment events for the people of the entire Split Region," Flynn said. "By combining the outstanding talent, success, and experience of the NEC Group and Global Spectrum into Global Spectrum Europe, we will utilize all of our resources to make sure the Spaladium is an important and friendly place to visit for our guests, athletes, and performers."
