Laura Neumann surrounded by members of the Pikes Peak Region Boys & Girls Club
Laura Neumann, General Manager for Cheyenne Mountain Resort, a Benchmark Hospitality International property in Colorado Springs, Colorado, has been elected Chairman of the Board for the Boys & Girls Club of the Pikes Peak Region. Neumann, who is also Troop Leader of Colorado Springs Brownie Troop 97, will be responsible for overseeing the activities and fund raising initiatives of the Pikes Peak Region chapter of the national Boys & Girls Club organization.
"Laura is a natural leader," said James Sullivan, Executive Director of the Boys & Girls Club. "This is one of the strongest boards that the Boys & Girls Club has had in many years."
Not only has the resort provided the venue for fund raisers and other activities, but resort staff have volunteered their time and participated in Boys & Girls Club events. Neumann’s and Cheyenne Mountain Resort's support of the Boys & Girls Club reflects the company-wide Hometown Hospitality Caring for our Communities outreach of Benchmark Hospitality International.
"Caring for our communities is not a pastime, it’s our passion," said Neumann. "It is important work that the Boys & Girls Club does and we at Cheyenne Mountain Resort, and our management company, Benchmark Hospitality International, want to support this work in any way we can."
