
The American Bank Center in Corpus Christi, Texas recently hosted the Texas Thespians State Festival, which attracted an approximately 3,200 actors & actresses, technical crew members, writers and other theater lovers. The three-day conference/festival, which featured sessions on acting, directing, musical theater, dance, movement, and improvisation, generated an estimated $1 Million in economic impact. The multi-purpose American Bank Center, features a waterfront location on Corpus Christi bay, the 9,000-seat American Bank Center Arena, the 2,500-seat Selena Auditorium, and 76,500 square feet of meeting/exhibition space, including the 20,000-square-foot Bayview Ballroom and the 25,366 -square-foot Watergarden Room.
