VenuWorks has been awarded a one-year contract to manage the Aransas Pass Civic Center in Aransas Pass, Texas. Currently under construction with a scheduled completion date of December 2008, the Aransas Pass Civic Center is a 30,000 square foot multi-purpose— designed to host meetings, conventions,  trade shows and other events will feature a 16,000-square-foot exhibition hall/ballroom, approximately 2,000 square feet of meeting rooms, and an outdoor event plaza of nearly 12,000 square feet.  Aransas Pass has a population of nearly 9,000 people, with a regional population of nearly 60,000.  It is located northeast of Corpus Christi, a city of nearly 280,000, along the northwest coast of the Gulf of Mexico. “I have high hopes that we can help the community of Aransas Pass maximize the benefits from building a civic center,” said Steve Peters, President, VenuWorks.
